Bach was particularly prolific when it came to writing cantatas, composing for the various churches where he was organist and during his time as Thomaskantor in Leipzig. Head of Historical Performance at the RCM, Ashley Solomon, conducts the RCM Baroque Ensemble and Chamber Choir in this concert featuring two cantatas and two of Bach’s best-known works, the Brandenburg Concertos.
